I had really no idea what was involved with a foal, I’ve referred to your book like a bible. It’s a great reminder that even if things aren’t going as you planned, just finish before frustration kicks in and start again the next day. I love your approach that it’s a partnership and not a dominance. I bred from my mare and now have a very respectful, happy 2 year old that will do mostly anything I ask first time around because she trusts me. I would have been lost without your book and I often refer other people starting out with foals to buy it.
